Progress creating pollinator patches and converting a degraded lawn into a native bunch grass prairie. Squarely a riparian condition that required real study and observations of nearby reference sites to achieve the desired results. Lots of cool native bees, butterflies, hover flies and all manner of other “bugs” around here. Today lots of birds too. A yellow-breasted chat that showed up in the willows there earlier this fall was a notable local rarity.
